Creating pattern for textile, product, home & Packaging
I have a friend called Natalie. She is bright and bubbly with the most lovely warm, happy nature. She has red curly hair and I always think of Autumn when I see her. All through lockdown, she was the one person who always asked how I was getting on, how is my project going, etc. so I decided to illustrate a design with Natalie in mind. I started with Autumnal colour leaves falling from the sky. The style changed a few time, as I wanted to get the feel right. It needed to feel crisp and modern. I ended up illustrating 4 colour-ways: Green for Spring, Multi coloured for Summer, Red for Autumn, and Blue for Winter. Each four patterns come on two different colour backgrounds.
I hope Natalie likes the pattern when she finally gets sight of it.
