This pattern showcase is a bit of fun. I just love textiles from the 1950s. I love the colours they used to use and love the fun element in the designs. I wanted to see if I could re-create a retro style fabric, but using a simple rough sketch-style illustration - again similar to the old wood block style textiles, where colours often overlapped. Like everything, I tend to create in a few different colour-ways.
