Cornwallis Pattern by Rachel Goodchild
Creating pattern for textile, product, home & Packaging
This pattern showcase is named after the street of my family home. I was born on that crescent and lived there until I left home in my late teens. Home was a large Georgian house and my parents collected antique furniture, and there was lots of patterned wallpapers (and they still are today). I wanted to go for an Edwardian style that reminded me of home, so I started looking at simple Edwardian motifs to give me an idea for a simple shape to pattern repeat.
