This was an enjoyable lockdown project for me. I have always loved Clarice Cliff and her hand painted china range. She used fantastic vibrant colours and 1920's style images. I created this Clarice Cliff range, just because I wanted to re-illustrate all her designs - for fun. I loved it, and as a collector of china myself, I wanted to see if I could derive a Clarice Cliff pattern that I would love to have in my own home. I think it actually works best on textiles.
