Rachel moved more into illustration as a medium and took the pandemic period to gain more skills in illustration so that she could incorporate it more into her designs. She took further training and gained more certificates in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and In Design. She also also studied Project Management and gained her Prince2 Project Management qualification in 2021. She spent the pandemic lockdown working on creating a whole new collection of Pattern designs, and set about launching a new website, which would separate her online shop from her Design site. 2022 sees the launch of Boom Folk.
