Rachel is a pattern designer who creates pattern for products, home interiors, textile, and gift packaging. She is a Prince2 trained Project Manager and has overseen many projects in the filed of design and branding over the years.
Rachel offers a design service, as well as commission and licensing of her designs. She also loves to collaborate with companies on creative projects. Her most recent project is the setting up of Boom Folk, an online shop, where you can purchase her designs on products.
In her design field Rachel has created pattern designs for sale on products, for license, and by commission. She has been fortunate enough to have worked with a wide range of companies including Charbonnel et Walker, The Art Fund, Warner Textile Archive and Paul Smith for Leica. Many of her designs have been featured in The Sunday Times, Homes and Antiques, Country Living, The Telegraph, Country Homes & Interiors, etc.
Over the years Rachel has created a vast collection of pattern designs, overseen many print-runs, projects, built websites, set up e-commerce sites, created and ran workshops, exhibited at trade shows from London to San Francisco, and always carried out her own marketing.
Rachel is based in Bristol has been married to her husband since 1990. They have two daughters.
