In 2001 Rachel Goodchild set up her business as a surface pattern designer working to commission. She has been commissioned by Charbonnel et Walker, The Art Fund, Warner Textile Archive and Paul Smith for Leica, and others. Rachel is featured in The Pattern Sourcebook: A Century of Surface Design by Drusilla Cole (Published by Laurence King Publishing) and Creating the Vintage Look by Ellie Laycock (Published by CICO Books). Rachel has been running a design event in Bristol since 2001. Christmas at the Orangery takes place annually in the run up to Christmas. You can see event website HERE
Rachel's Products are printed in England. She uses local printing companies who are FSC accredited (Forest Stewardship Council). She also uses 100% recycled FSC board for her print runs. Her envelopes are 100% recycled and cards come packed in compostable cello bags.
